BAABY is an all Australian luxury swimwear and women’s apparel label designed and made in Melbourne, with pieces that are 100% ethically and locally manufactured, created from the finest Italian fabrics, woven from recycled fibres.
BAABY swimsuits entail classicism with a touch of outlandish flair, featuring bright prints teamed with baby pastels, and flattering silhouettes with a subtle 80s feel.
Their tracksuit is made from 68% organic cotton and 32% responsibly sourced wool. This fabric is knitted in Melbourne and is breathable, cuddly and soft. The cotton is grown without chemicals, the wool comes from Australian farms with a progressive and sustainable approach to managing land, where the animals are treated fairly and with respect.
All designing and sampling is done in-house made-to-order in the BAABY studio in Melbourne. During this process every style is fitted to various body shapes to ensure the perfect fit thus creating a divine coexistence between fashion and comfort.
The fabrics are printed at a local Australian printer who do small runs to ensure no excessive printing and wasted fabric. They use non-toxic water based dyes to minimise harm to the environment.
All swing tags on Baaby garments are made from recycled paper and are attached to garments with sustainable hemp string. Also, the brand uses compostable packaging to ship their orders. This means you can dispose of the packaging in your compost bin or in your green waste bin.
