Budweiser is your traditional beer brand. And whereas they didn't start as a sustainable brand, today the brand has set a goal for the brand to be running on 100% renewable energy by 2025. Between other aspirations carbon reduction, Budweiser is looking into water stewardship, smarter agriculture, and a tighter circular packaging loop.
In 2016, Budweiser made a commitment to brew every Budweiser with 100% renewable electricity by 2025. Since then, they have partnered with vendors across the world to create $1B in renewable electricity infrastructure, which included the largest Pan European corporate solar power deal in history. Their solar farm in Wales was part of that deal and generates enough renewable electricity to brew over a billion Budweiser’s a year.
