LilyBee Wrap was born from a desire to create an easy, eco-friendly food wrap option that both worked well, without sacrificing beauty. Their beeswax wraps are made in New Zealand with the highest quality ingredients, 100% cotton, locally and sustainable sourced beeswax, organic coconut oil and tree resin.
Like most of us, they hate using plastic (especially when it’s only for single use) so we started looking for alternatives. So far the brand has saved 48 million metres of plastic from entering our oceans and land. They’re big believers that with steps like this together, we can change the world.
All of their packaging is PEFC (Sustainable Forestry) certified, and their fabric and printing is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). LilyBee Wrap is also a B Corporation and Living Wage Accredited employer.
LilyBee Wrap is a woman owned and operated business, and as they’ve grown from a little pot in a small kitchen to a large scale operation with 15 employees, community has remained at the heart of the business with team lunches, eco culture and flexible hours to allow mothers to work around their family life. They even have a milk truck here every week to refill glass milk bottles for our team and the locals! As the brand continues to grow, their core values of quality, community and sustainability will anchor all their decision making throughout the business.
