Lululemon makes technical clothing for yoga, running, and most other sweaty pursuits. The brand has worked to create a global network of stores supports the needs of their local communities through partnerships with grassroots non-profit organizations. That includes including grants, in-kind donations, events, and fundraising. To date, Here to Be program has invested over $5.4M, developed over 300 grassroots non-profit partnerships, and donated more than 8,000 yoga mats. The Luvea™ yoga mat is made out of a rubber that is natural, sustainably-sourced, and certified to the FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) and this is the only eco-mat we found between the Lululemon’s range. For their apparel, Lululemon is advancing social and environmental standards across their supply chain. To guarantee sustainable standards, the brand is partnered with the Sustainable Apparel Coalition or the American Apparel and Footwear Association, also to keep up on industry developments around raw material opportunities and ensuring animal welfare for the wool sourcing.
