ONEKA is a brand of clean beauty and body care products that believes that aromas should come from plants in the form of essential oils versus synthetic fragrances. Their consciousness about sustainability, social impact and this is what has made them earn a BCorp certification.
Oneka’s all-natural personal care range was created out of respect for our water sources and the many organisms that help clean and purify it along its way. Rather than causing damage or polluting; Oneka products work WITH the elements of nature. They do this by using certified organic and wild harvested herbal extracts to nourish the hair and body without sulfates, parabens, or synthetic fragrances. All of products are made in Canada, are vegan and cruelty-free.
Through Oneka, founders Philippe Choiniere and Stacey Lecuyer want to have a positive impact on people's health and the water ecosystems. Before starting this business, Stacey had been suffering from eczema for over 20 years; and Philippe had been allergic to synthetic fragrances since being a baby. For these two life-enthusiasts, Oneka is a way to express their desire to see positive change, as well as make people's lives better by developing and producing all natural personal care products. Enjoy the sophisticated aroma of lavender and angelica herbal blends among others, offering you the nourishing and toning virtues your skin needs.
The brand also works with Plasticbank®, which enables them to remove 3 plastic bottles from the coastlines for every 500ml of product sold. So far they’ve removed over 3 million plastic bottles! Furthermore, Oneka has partnered with Taking Root and Arbre-Évolution to plant trees in areas such as Central America and Québec, which allows to contribute to reforestation and offset the business carbon emissions.
