This brand belongs to a Danish family business with the 3rd generation, Louise Andreas, in charge. The passion for rattan started back in 1942, when Ankjær Andreasen started producing baskets, lamps and flower tables in wicker and rattan.
As the world’s second fastest growing material for furniture production, rattan is a very sustainable choice. Rattan regenerates in 5-7 years and unlike bamboo, rattan is not hollow which makes it an extremely durable and strong.
