Tegu is a brand making magnetic wooden blocks; they’re purposefully made in Honduras.
The brand believes that play, at its best, is free from rules, expectations and scripted narratives. Kids need space to relax, laugh and have fun. To imagine and create new worlds. To discover themselves and the world on their own terms. It’s important to occasionally set aside screens and schedules in favor of exploration, discovery and the joy of the moment.
There is something magical about what’s inside a Tegu block. One thing most people don't realize is that all our blocks are designed to work together. This was a unique challenge that was solved by crafting each block around a core cubic module. With the different shapes, planks, columns, angles, wheels and propellers, children can develop their fine motor skills, improve pattern recognition, balance and scale, imaginative play, problem solving and storytelling.
