About Brand

The Little Market is a nonprofit fair trade shop featuring ethically sourced, artisan-made products. Behind each of our products is a person who created it — and a story. The brand seeks to empower artisans around the world by extending their products’ distribution and supporting sustainable income opportunities. They are committed to upholding the dignity of artisans, celebrating their cultural techniques and traditions, and bringing attention to social justice and human rights issues faced by their communities.

The Little Market works closely with artisan groups and social enterprises around the globe to source ethical, sustainable gifts, accessories, and home décor. When shopping at The Little Market, you have the opportunity to choose unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.

The brand ethically sources from the most underserved groups, including individuals living in poverty people with disabilities, women transitioning out of homelessness refugees and survivors of trafficking and domestic violence. These organizations improve the quality of life in their communities in a number of ways including literacy workshops, business training, counseling, and healthcare programs. The Little Market mission is anchored in the fundamental belief that every person has the right to dignified, safe jobs and fair, living wages.

Through our partnerships with artisan and producer groups, we develop unique products that honor local customs and traditions and connect artisans with a global marketplace of consumers, creating opportunities for skill building, financial empowerment, and independence. Since 2013, The Little Market has provided 231,773 hours of dignified work for more than 65 artisan and producer groups in 25 countries and sovereign states around the world.
