About Brand

UpCircle is a pioneering skincare brand that's regenerative by design. The brand has taken vegan, natural, handmade, organic and cruelty-free one step further: transforming ingredients that would otherwise be discarded into high performing beauty products.
The circular economy sits at the heart of what UpCircle does – they even named themselves after it! UpCircle also hints at ‘upcycling’, the process of making something better from things that already exist. How many brands can claim that their products have saved literally hundreds of tonnes of valuable skin-loving ingredients from ending up in landfill?
Their palm oil-free soaps are made with residual chai tea spices left over after making chai syrups. The UK produced 23,000 tonnes of fruit stone waste in 2012 alone, so UpCircle founders knew something had to be done there too. The brand has now released their “fruit pit range”, within which each product is made with the powder of a different discarded fruit pit.
The ingredients re not only sustainable, but also vegan, cruelty free and palm oil free; plus COSMOS-Approved, meaning the skincare range don’t carry any nasties such as SLS, SLEs, parabens, mineral oil, parfum or sulfates.
The packaging across UpCircle’s range is 99% plastic-free and they offer plastic-free refill options for the 1%. Aside from their actual products, even marketing materials are made from paper that’s made from recycled coffee cups and only use paper tape which has also been made from recycled fibres.
